The Furever Gala with a Purrpose will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening dedicated to helping shape the future of animal welfare in our community.

This year's Purrpose focuses on renovating and modernizing our adoption kennels, which have remained largely unchanged since our shelter opened in 1991. While Salt Lake County Animal Services has evolved into the largest no-kill municipal shelter in Utah, our adoption spaces no longer reflect the level of care, enrichment, and comfort we strive to provide for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Guests will enjoy an elegant casino-inspired evening featuring cocktails, dinner, casino gaming, raffle opportunities, a silent auction, and inspiring stories showcasing the impact of our community's support. Throughout the evening, attendees will have opportunities to directly support this transformational project and help create safer, more welcoming spaces for shelter pets and adopters alike.

Not only will you enjoy a memorable night out, but your participation will help fund critical improvements that enhance animal welfare, reduce stress for shelter pets, improve adoption experiences, and better serve the thousands of animals who enter our doors each year. Together, we can ensure our facility reflects the lifesaving work happening within its walls.

Every dollar raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and auction purchases will support the renovation of our adoption kennels and help Salt Lake County Animal Services continue moving animal welfare forward for our community.

Thank you to our sponsors, donors, and supporters who make this work possible. Your generosity is helping us write the next chapter for the animals who depend on us.
