We are KW Legacy…

To us, a legacy is something handed down for the greater good.

We are a group of friends who have benefited from growing up in this amazing community. We now live, work, play and are raising families here. The goal of KW Legacy is to leverage the connections of our members to support people who are looking for ways to make our community an even better place to live.

A legacy is what your life leaves behind. For us this is the beginning of our legacy.

The Top Home Chef Gala, presented by KW Legacy, offers a unique taste-testing evening of food, fun and fundraising. This premier event will bring the community together by inviting up to 50 would-be chefs, to compete for the title of “Top Home Chef.” Chefs are volunteers from the community and each will prepare 100 samples of their best dish that will be served and judged by our 500 guests as well as celebrity judges. Our celebrity judge panel includes local chefs Scott Yates, Dana Shortt, Chef D and Nick Benninger.

In addition to the Gala, you can support the event by participating in our Online Silent Auction. Proceeds go to the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council.

Payment and Pick Up for Items Won

This auction will close on Saturday, April 20th at 9:30 p.m. EST. Winners will receive an email confirming items won. 

*Please note that in case of multiple bids at the same amount, the auto-bid (selected with max bid feature) is recognized as the winning bid in the auction system, regardless of the time stamp. 

Payments will be processed by credit card through the auction site. If you are the successful bidder on an item the credit card entered at registration will be charged on Monday April 22nd, 2024. Winners will be contacted to arrange prize pick-up. Winners are responsible for picking up their prize or covering the cost of shipping. If prizes are not paid for by Tuesday, April 23rd, the item(s) will go to the next highest bidder.
