To us, a legacy is something handed down for the greater good.

We are a group of friends who have benefited from growing up in this amazing community. We now live, work, play and are raising families here. The goal of KW Legacy is to leverage the connections of our members to support people who are looking for ways to make our community an even better place to live.

A legacy is what your life leaves behind. For us this is the beginning of our legacy.

The Top Home Chef Gala, presented by KW Legacy, offers a unique taste-testing evening of food, fun and fundraising. This premier event will bring the community together by inviting up to 50 would-be chefs, to compete for the title of “Top Home Chef.” Chefs are volunteers from the community and each will prepare 100 samples of their best dish that will be served and judged by our 500 guests as well as celebrity judges. Our celebrity judge panel includes local chefs Dana Shortt, Nick Benninger, Simon Mathias and Rob Brady.

In addition to the Gala, there are lot of great prizes to be had and some amazing experiences in our live auction.

Proceeds go to the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council.
