What is Verge Fair?

Verge Center for the Arts is proud to present our annual Verge Fair, a three-day art market designed to build a bridge between artists and art lovers. Verge Fair will commence with a kick off event on Thursday, May 19 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Attendees at the event will have early access to the silent auction, our bespoke retail space, Verge swag, artful bites and a one-of-a-kind art installation.

As always, our auction will be a testament to the vitality, community, and strength of our region. By supporting the Verge Fair, you are playing a key role in helping Verge shape the landscape of the Sacramento arts scene. Through exhibitions, public programs, and events, Verge nurtures dialogue and conversation for artists and art lovers alike.

The Verge Fair is our main summer fundraiser, and we are counting on remarkable, generous supporters like you to help us continue presenting the high quality, arts-focused programming our region needs.

**Please note: all in-person events are subject to change in accordance with state and local public health mandates

  • Who can bid on auction items?
    • Anyone! No tickets are required to set up an auction bidder profile through ClickBid, and registering as a bidder is fast and free. All you need is a valid credit cart + a few contact details to get started. Your card will not be charged until you are the winning bidder on a item or if you choose to make a donation to Verge to help us reach our auction fundraising goal.
  • Where will my auction dollars go?
    • Dollars raised at Verge Fair go right back into the Sacramento arts community. Up to 50% of each art sale will go directly back to the working artists in our region, many of whom are new and emerging talents. Your dollars will also directly support Verge Center for the Arts as we continue bringing the Sacramento region high quality arts programming in everything from our exhibitions to our youth education offerings.
