Since 2005, Stroke Comeback Center has been Opening the Door to a Brighter Tomorrow for stroke and brain trauma survivors, regardless of their ability to pay for our services. We've grown from a handful of survivors in our small center in Oakton, to serving over 170 survivors each week in our Vienna, Rockville, and Virtual centers. It's been 20 great years and we have a lot to celebrate!

Please join us for live music, a seated dinner, and an inspirational program as we celebrate our achievements and look forward to our future.

A glimpse of our 20 great years!

About Us

About Stroke Comeback Center

Founded in 2005, Stroke Comeback Center is a community of survivors of stroke and other brain trauma committed to living successful and productive lives. Our non-profit organization offers support along the slow road to better. Our members, professionals, volunteers, and families know that recovery continues forever. We are the only organization of this kind in the greater Washington, DC area.

Help Survivors Thrive

Your support of our 20th Anniversary Celebration allows Stroke Comeback Center to provide meaningful programs to stroke and brain trauma survivors throughout their recoveries at rates that are affordable for all families. This includes our communication and cognitive support classes and our THRIVE Program of virtual and in-person fitness, yoga, and art classes designed to help our survivors live full and active lives. Most importantly, your generosity ensures that we can stay true to our mission of never turning away a survivor for financial reasons.
