Feel free to arrive at the event at a time that works best for you! Here are the available options:

Opening Mass: 5:00–6:00 p.m. (optional)
Check-in Begins: 5:00 p.m.
Viewing of Silent Auction & Light Hors d’oeuvres: 5:00–6:20 p.m.
Welcome & Prayer: 6:20 p.m.

Dinner & Dessert | Auction - 7:00 p.m.
Program & Live Auction - 8:00 p.m.
Entertainment - Dueling Pianos, Rocket Man - 8:30 p.m.
Auction Items Close in Phases - 9:30 p.m.
Auction Check-out | Entertainment Ends | Bar Closes - 10:30 p.m.
Evening Adjourns - 11:00 p.m.


GET READY FOR THE FUN!

Remember your cash! (or check!) If you're attending the gala in person, please remember to bring cash or a check for raffles (as credit card payments cannot be accepted) and tips for the dueling pianos. 

ATM available onsite for your convenience; bringing cash or a checkbook will help you avoid fees. Our entertainment features a Dueling Pianos performance by Rock It Man Entertainment, with all tips going directly to StMCS.

Charge your phone! There’s nothing worse than losing an item you wanted because your phone died!

Raffle tickets and games can still be purchased in person or at the event with cash or check. Golden Tickets are no longer available.


SILENT AUCTION - 350+ ITEMS 

View items!
Auction items can be viewed through ClickBid, our online mobile bidding system. Click the menu item on the top right of the page. This option will only allow the user to view the items. 

Create An Account
Enter your phone number or email address beneath our Denim and Diamonds logo to create an account. Registered users who have established their payment method can bid on items.

Create A Watch List
While viewing an item you are interested in, click the heart icon. This will add it to the “watching” category within your menu, and if you change your mind about an item, you can always remove it from your “watching” list.

Place Your Max Bids
Use the max bid feature to set the maximum price you will pay for the items you want. As others place bids, the system will automatically place a bid up to your maximum. Be aware you can still get outbid, even if it’s the last second before the item’s auction closes. 

Know what time bidding closes for your items! We will use a phased approach to close the bidding. Categories close as follows:

  • 9:30 pm: Auto (200s) and Home (300s)

  • 9:45 pm: Entertainment & Experiences (400s), Kids (500s), and Food & Drink (600s)

  • 10 pm: Outdoors (700s), StMCS Student Grade Projects (800s), and StMCS Exclusives (900s)

Payment Process For Winning Bidders
Winning bidders may pay for their items before 11:00pm on Saturday by either processing their cart online or having the Bids for Kids team assist them in person. Items not paid for by 11:00pm on Saturday will have their credit card on file charged. Please note that all credit card transactions will be charged a 3.63% fee.

Pick-up Times for Winning Bidders 
If you are a winning bidder, you will be notified via ClickBid. Winning bidders may pick up their items after bidding closes on Saturday (10 p.m.) through the Bids for Kids checkout team. If you cannot pick up your items on Saturday, they may be picked up the next day (Sunday, April 27) from noon to 2 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church.

GOLDEN TICKET



THE GOLDEN TICKET

  • Only 100 available tickets at $100 each
  • Purchase one or more tickets before the start of the Bids for Kids event
  • If your ticket is drawn, you’ll have your choice to a live auction item before the auction begins, or $1000 cash
  • The drawing will take place the during the afternoon, day of the event
  • The winner does not need to be present to win, but must contact a Bids for Kids chair within 1 hour of the drawing to claim their prize


DIAMOND DASH RAFFLE

  • Purchase up to two tickets which includes a glass of champagne and a chance to take home a sparkling new piece of diamond jewelry
  • Tickets are limited
  • Winner is drawn after the live program
  • Make your way to the Diamond Dash area in the gym following the live program



WHISKEY RAFFLE

  • Premium Whiskey Up for Grabs - the collection includes some of the finest bottles
  • After live program, winners will be drawn in the gym
  • If your name is called, you will have one minute to select your bottle
  • If you are not present, another name will be drawn - must be present to play and win 


50/50 RAFFLE

  • 50% of the money raised will go to St. Michael’s Catholic School
  • The other 50% will go to the lucky guest with the winning ticket!
  • The winner does not need to be present to win


SCHOOL TUITION RAFFLE

Your chance to win tuition at St. Michael Catholic School for the 2025-2026 school year!

Grand Prize
Free tuition for the 2025-2026 school year (K-8) or $1000 cash

2nd Place
$500 towards 2025-2026 tuition or $400 cash

3rd Place
$300 towards 2025-2026 tuition or $200 cash 

Winner does not need to be present to win.



HEADS OR TAILS

  • Join Us for the Grown-Up Version of "Heads or Tails" with a $500 Grand Prize!
  • Purchase up to five necklaces to participate 
  • The game will take place after dinner
  • All players wearing necklaces will stand up
  • Each player will choose heads or tails
  • A coin will be flipped and those who chose correctly will remain standing
  • Players who guessed incorrectly must sit down, take off their necklace, and are eliminated from the game
  • If you have multiple necklaces, you must remove one, but you can remain standing with the rest
  • The game will continue until only one player is left standing, and that lucky person will win $500

Bids for Kids: An Annual Tradition Supporting St. Michael Catholic School

Bids for Kids is one of St. Michael Catholic School's biggest fundraisers of the year. This exciting event is planned and organized by a dedicated team of volunteers, with all funds raised going directly to benefit our students and faculty. The money raised helps provide our children with a wonderful Catholic education by supporting investments in classroom enhancements, extracurricular activities, and ensuring we can retain our stellar faculty and staff.

We are grateful for your support in making this event a success and for helping us continue to provide an exceptional education to our students who are living for Christ and learning for life!

We welcome all St. Michael Catholic School and Church parents, staff, alumni, friends, and community members to join us for an unforgettable evening of fun and fundraising in support of a great cause. Please note that the auction is an ADULT-only event, providing the perfect opportunity to meet new people and enjoy a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Come for the fun, stay for the cause, and help make a difference for our students and school community!

WHEN DO I PURCHASE TICKETS? 

Tickets will be available for purchase starting in February. We invite you to join us for a fun evening supporting St. Michael Catholic School. Your ticket includes access to mobile bidding for both the live and silent auctions, as well as happy hour, dinner, and dessert. Ticket sales close on Wednesday, April 11th, 2025, so be sure to secure yours before it's too late!

Dress Code: Denim & Diamonds Theme

This is a fun and exciting event, and we encourage guests to dress in cocktail or business attire to complement our sparkly & denim theme! Whether you choose to shine bright in diamonds or add a casual flair with denim, we can't wait to see you all dressed to impress!

IS SEATING RESERVED?

Yes and No! Upon check-in, you will receive a place card. Feel free to set your place card at an unreserved table of your choice. Please note, there will be some reserved tables for our sponsors and those who purchased a whole table.

WHAT IS MOBILE BIDDING?

We are excited to be partnering with ClickBid at our event. All silent auction bidding will be done via ClickBid. You will receive a link to use for bidding. Please remember to make sure your devices are fully charged the day of Bids for Kids.

WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS WILL BE AUCTIONED?

There will be hundreds of unique items up for bid during our silent auction. Items range from classroom-themed baskets, unique class projects, and teacher coupon booklets, to exciting experiences like Principal for the Day, front-row reserved seats at school programs, home items, vacation getaways, and much more.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEMS? 

When you arrive for the event, your credit card information will be confirmed.  We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AND AMERICAN EXPRESS. Following the event, a receipt will be emailed to you confirming your purchases.

CAN I DONATE ITEMS?

We will happily accept new, unused items for the silent auction. All items must be delivered to StMCS by February 28th, 2025. To access the donation form, CLICK HERE.
