A signature event of Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan. The Mistletoe Committee has been hard at work for months preparing for this special day. THE POWER OF VOLUNTEERISM
Last year, our volunteers reported donating 48,268 hours of their time to support our missions.
This represents a value of approximately $1,616,495* keeping our operating costs low.
*Value based on U.S. Department of Labor statistics of an hourly rate of $33.49 for volunteering.
Our sources of income include fundraising, grants, donations and our retail store.
ReSale Connection offers new and gently used gift items, household furnishings, clothing, jewelry,
and accessories with a focus on repurposing and reusing quality goods.
Both donated and consignment items are accepted.
With no paid employees, the store is fully managed and staffed by our members.
Our ReSale Connection store benefits Assistance League® of Southeastern Michigan, consignors,
donors and those who shop with us. Consignors receive 50% of the sales price.
ALSM receives 50% to support our philanthropic programs, and the buyer benefits by enjoying shopping and purchasing quality items.
