White Rock Lake Foundation hosts its annual 
All-Star Chef Lineup for Jewel of Dallas Gala celebrating 30 years of service to White Rock Lake. Tickets available now for a fun-filled evening of live music, fine local cuisine, and exciting auctions – all for a great cause!

About the Foundation

The White Rock Lake Foundation is hosting its second annual Jewel of Dallas Gala to help raise money for the ongoing restoration of Winfrey Point and lake amenities.

The gala, presented by the Celanese Foundation, will be Thursday, November 9, at the Granada Theater Dallas, featuring big band music and cuisine from some of the area’s finest restaurants. There also will be live and silent auctions to help raise money for the White Rock Lake Foundation and its stewardship of the lake, known as the “Jewel of Dallas.”

About the Event

     The White Rock Lake Foundation Gala is one of our largest fundraisers each year.  We count on our community’s generosity to help us achieve the Foundation’s goal of maintaining and improving White Rock Lake. 

     The foundation already has contributed more than $150,000 for the Winfrey Point restoration project, but we are is still trying to raise an additional $200,000 to complete the improvements. The Foundation, in partnership with the Dallas Running Club, is also installing location markers/maps around the lake. Some other projects have been stone signs, baseball field coverings, tree plantings, and over a million dollars in amenities to the lake over the past 30 years. We couldn't do it without your help!
