The WCC Foundation Women's Council invites you to attend its 27th Annual Women's Council Celebration Luncheon on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College. We will honor a select group of women we call "Sheroes," female heroes who have made incredible contributions to the Washtenaw County community. Congratulations to our 2024 honorees!

A Shero is a woman with these characteristics:
• Exemplifies professional excellence through her work and service
• Supports and advances the lives of women, children and the underserved in Washtenaw County through professional, community or business organizations, volunteerism, professional work, and mentoring
• Advances equity, diversity and inclusion in her work and volunteer activities
About the WCC Foundation and the Women's Council
The mission of the WCC Foundation is to give hope and support to Washtenaw Community College students through scholarships and other philanthropic support, creating a better educated workforce and a stronger community.
The mission of the WCCF Women's Council is to endow scholarships for women based on leadership and academic excellence, build a mentoring program, and provide services and resources that support the women of Washtenaw Community College. The annual Women's Council Celebration Luncheon raises money to support this mission by honoring women who have made significant contributions to the Washtenaw County community.
