The Peacekeepers are a group of volunteers committed to serving the shelter, staff, and guests through fundraisers, service projects, and special events. The Peacekeepers were established in 2008 by a group of shelter volunteers and members of the board of directors who wanted to do more for the shelter.
The Peacekeepers organize festive parties at the shelter for various holidays, host regularly recurring events at the shelter enhancing the experience of our guests, and act as ambassadors in the community by hosting and participating in community events.
