Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block's Gala is the largest annual fundraiser that supports the museum. Again, this year, the Silent Auction and Fund a Need will be virtual via ClickBid! Bid on works of art, fine jewelry, exquisite wines, and unique experiences.

Fund-A-Need Raffle!
All Fund-A-Need donations of $100 or more will be entered to win an exclusive two-night stay at Bear Mountain Lodge in Silver City, New Mexico, courtesy of John McNulty and Jeff Brown!
Donations must be received before 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, March 16 to be entered into the drawing. The winner will be announced live before the close of the evening.

Your generous support ensures Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block can continue to present world-class exhibitions, provide a diversity of community art programs, care for its collection, and maintain its historic buildings and grounds. Here are some of the needs your funds will fulfill:
$5,000
"Pay What You Wish" First Thursday and Second SundAZe, programs designed to provide welcoming and active museum spaces in which visitors can enjoy entertainment, artist demonstrations, and gallery experiences.
An entire school year of art classes.
Conserve one large painting or work on paper.
New art activities for the Creative Space, TMA's Family Interactive Gallery.
$2,500
Provide 500 students with a TMA field trip, including free admission and bus transportation. TMA provided opportunities to experience our museum galleries for more than 6,000 students last year. About 1,500 of these students were underserved youth from inner city and rural areas around Tucson.
Insurance for the artwork on view for one month.

Ten TMALearn Docent Art Talks at long-term care facilities and libraries and other places in the community.
Spanish language translation for one exhibition.
Ship a new collection acquisition to TMA.
Support for renovation of historic properties.
Support for interns working with the curators or education staff.
Funding assistance for a speaker for an exhibition.

TMALearn docent, In-school Art Program for 120 students, which brings art to the classroom and students to the museum.
New presentation pedestals for a feature exhibition.
Art Programming for refugee and immigrant audiences through TMA's Museums as Sanctuary program.
In-gallery conversations and hand-on artmaking for individuals with early to mid-stages of dementia and their caregivers through TMA's Art of Memory program, in partnership since 2007 with the Alzheimer's Association Desert Southwest Chapter.
Admission for active military and their families for the summer months through the Blue Star Museum program and funds free admission for veterans all year.
New tools needed for TMA's preparator department.

Art supplies and instructors for an art-making experience at a library, school, or other local organization.
Verbal descriptive and touch tours for visually impaired audiences and special tours by TMALearn volunteers in partnership with the VA Hospital's Blind Rehabilitation Program.
Salary for an event crew set up for one event.

Art making supplies for one of TMA's afterschool museum art programs. Students enjoy a weekly visit to TMA during the school year at a discounted rate.
Three days of security monitoring throughout TMA's galleries.
Support for teaching artists who oversee art activities on TMA's Second SunAZe.

Auction Disclaimer
The Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block, item donor, and any sponsors, contributors, committee members, or contractors cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or property damage resulting from the use of any auction purchase.
Tax Guidelines
Values assigned to each auction item are determined by the donor. Bids in excess of fair market value are deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor for advice.
Online Auction Rules
- All items are sold AS IS without warranty or guarantee. The Buyer accepts the item in its current condition.
- You may use the check out feature in the Click Bid platform to purchase your items.
- If you are the successful bidder, you are obligated to purchase the item.
- Pickup of the auction items is the responsibility of the Buyer.
- Auction successful bidder price does not include shipping or delivery fees that might apply.
Pick up of Auction Items
If you are one of the lucky attendees at the Gala, we will have all auction items ready for pickup at 8:30 p.m. If you are an online bidder, auction items may be picked up through the Museum Store at 140 N. Main, Tucson, 85701, starting Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Please call ahead to coordinate a pick up (520) 616-2690. If anyone other than the auction winner comes to pick up the auction item, the Museum needs to be notified in advance.
NOTE: No auction item may be picked up on Sunday, March 17. Auction items may only be picked up on the following days:
- Wednesday – Sunday, March 20-24, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday – Sunday, March 27-31, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Shipping
The preferred method for our auction winners to receive their items is for pick up at the Museum Store. If shipping is necessary, please contact the Museum Store for assistance at (520) 616-2690. Auction winners are responsible for fees and shipping arrangements including insurance during transit if needed. The Museum is not financially responsible for damage incurred during transit. The Museum will exercise professional care in handling all auction items.
Note: There are certain auction items that cannot be shipped and are noted on the item page.
Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block regularly works with the following local artwork transport and installation contractors. We recommend you contact them directly to coordinate delivery.
