Term Sheet – 2020
By bidding in the 2020 St. Marys Tailgate for Cancer online auction, each bidder agrees to the following auction rules:
- All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is.” St. Marys Tailgate for Cancer has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance, or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog, or made orally at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
- The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify the amount of deduction.
- Payment for items purchased must be made in full within 24 hours of the close of the auction event by paying online by credit card through the auction site. St. Marys Tailgate for Cancer accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
- Purchased items may be picked up from the garage behind the house at 1129 Motz St., St. Marys, Ohio on Friday, October 23, 2020 or Monday, October 26, 2020 between the hours of 4pm and 8pm each day. Please access the garage from Holly Street and park in the lot behind the garage to not cause congestion for thru traffic.
- An alternate pickup option is available at Buckeye Cruise for Cancer - Travel Partners, 4980 Blazer Pkwy, Dublin, OH 43017 on Monday, October 26, 2020 between the hours of 9 am and 5:30 pm. Please call Juli S. at 419-394-8616 or email smtailgateforcancer@gmail.com by 8 pm on Friday, October 23, 2020 to inform St. Marys Tailgate for Cancer that you wish to use the alternate pickup location.
- Purchased items can be shipped to the purchaser and the cost for shipment will be billed to the purchaser. Arrangements for shipment can be made by calling Juli S. at 419-394-8616 or emailing smtailgateforcancer@gmail.com .
- Within 30 days after the end of the auction, all items must be claimed from one of the pickup locations or arrangements must be made for shipping. Items left unclaimed will be resold and proceeds will go to St. Marys Tailgate for Cancer.
- St. Marys Tailgate for Cancer reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
- Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from St. Marys Tailgate for Cancer, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the auctioneer(s), the auction company, and its agents and employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
