The Atlanta Speech School provides life-changing literacy and language learning opportunities for children with dyslexia, children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and children with speech and/or language delays. The Speech School accomplishes this through research-based practices, innovations, advocacy, and in partnership with other organizations so that each child at the Atlanta Speech School, and every child beyond the campus can acquire the language and literacy foundation essential for deciding their own future. Proceeds of the Gala directly support the School’s need-based financial aid program. No child in need of the School’s specialized services has ever been turned away due to financial circumstances, and the Gala helps ensure that legacy continues.
The 2027 Gala will be held on Friday, March 19, 2027 at The St. Regis Atlanta. With approximately 500 guests in attendance, it is always a festive evening with dinner and entertainment, as well as silent and live auctions. The Gala is a celebration of our community and our shared commitment to the mission of improving language and literacy in Georgia. This year guests will enter into a secret garden and learn about the School’s commitment to being the place where wonder grows. A place where every child can bloom to their full potential and find their voice.
