About Sophia's Fund

Our mission at Sophia's Fund is derived from a simple question, "What would Sophie want?" Sophia's Fund is dedicated to helping families impacted by childhood cancer through family financial assistance, hospital toy and gift card donations, and through funding critical pediatric cancer research. No amount is too small! With your support we will be able to go in 2024 with the goal of DOUBLING our impact from this year. What are some examples of what your donation and/or money raised from the auction will support? 

• $5: Dunkins or Starbucks giftcard giving a parent a moment of normalcy at the hospital
• $10-$30: the average for one day of parking at most hospitals (this adds up so quickly for families)
• $25: Project Smile donations such as a couple of lego sets, crafts, or bluetooth speakers 
• $50: gas gift card to get to and from appointments 
• $500: a fully funded Sophia Support grant to a family requesting financial assistance (most commonly rent, medical expenses, or transportation expenses)
