Salt Lake County Animal Services (SLCOAS) urgently needs your support. As Utah's largest life-saving municipal shelter, we are proud to have maintained a no-kill status for over a decade. However, with a nationwide 30% increase in dogs euthanized due to overcrowding and limited resources, we are now facing similar challenges with rising animal intake.

To continue our life-saving mission, we are planning to build an outbuilding with 16+ additional dog kennels. This new space is vital for accommodating long-term residents and giving them a better chance at finding loving homes. We aim to complete this project by the end of 2024 or early 2025, but we can't do it alone. Your support is crucial in helping us ensure that every adoptable pet finds the loving home they deserve.
