What You Make Possible

This year, every ticket helps support Hawai‘i School for Girls’ experiential learning program. At HSG, we believe some of the most powerful learning happens when students step beyond the classroom and gain access to people, places, and new possibilities. These experiences spark new interests, broaden perspectives, and transform learning into something students can see, explore, and act upon.

Sunset Jazz proceeds will help HSG purchase a new school bus. This vehicle will give students greater access to field experiences, mentorships, conferences, athletic competitions, and opportunities to learn from and contribute to their community. Help us take learning beyond the classroom!  🚌

What We're Serving

Guests will enjoy a choice of lemon chiffon or mocha chiffon cake, provided by pastry chef Beverly Luk.

Beverly Luk is a Hawaii-based pastry chef with more than a decade of experience in restaurants and hotels, including roles at Nami Kaze, Kaimana Beach Hotel and MW Restaurant. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Beverly’s culinary perspective is shaped by her roots and her years of experience in Hawaiʻi’s diverse culinary scene. Her desserts bring together Eastern and Western flavor profiles and techniques. She enjoys creating desserts that feel familiar yet unexpected, often drawing inspiration from the ingredients, flavors, and food memories that have influenced her journey. Beyond the professional kitchen, Beverly has shared her experience as a guest instructor, speaker, and chef demonstrator. She is honored to contribute her craft to this event in support of the school and its students.
