Root Division will celebrate its 25th Annual Art Auction on October 22 from 6–10 PM, marking a quarter century of supporting emerging artists and strengthening San Francisco's creative community. The annual event showcases and raises critical funds for Bay Area artists at a time when rising costs of living, shrinking studio availability, and reductions in public support for the arts continue to threaten the region's cultural ecosystem.

For 25 years, Root Division has served as a launchpad for artists at pivotal moments in their careers.

Collect art, support arts education, and be inspired by artists at Root Division's largest annual fundraising event! We are proud to feature an eclectic mix of high-quality artwork from over 100 established and emerging Bay Area artists, including plenty of shining and rising stars! A reprise from last year’s success, we’ll have the artwork installed in Root Division’s gallery, a continuation of online bidding, and a suite of in-person events. 

Proceeds directly benefit local artists, free art classes for Bay Area youth, and the continued success of Root Division's unique model for keeping artists working at the heart of San Francisco.
