Honoring The Rt. Rev. Robert L. Fitzpatrick
This year we are honoring Bishop Bob's incredible legacy here at St. Andrew's Schools! He will be celebrating his retirement at the end of 2026.
The Right Reverend Robert L. Fitzpatrick, fifth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaiʻi, has spent nearly four decades in dedicated ministry, combining pastoral leadership with a strong commitment to community and education.
Born in Illinois and educated at DePaul University and prominent theological seminaries, he served churches in New Jersey and Indiana before moving to Hawaiʻi in 2000, where he became Canon to the Ordinary and later a congregational leader. Elected Bishop in 2006 and ordained in 2007, he has strengthened congregations, expanded outreach, and fostered relationships across the Pacific, including guiding the formal inclusion of Micronesia into the Diocese in 2024 and building partnerships with churches in the Philippines and Guam.
