Helicopter Ball Drop

- Cost: $20 per numbered ball (1–1,000 max).
- The Drop: A helicopter drops all balls simultaneously over a marked target.
- The Prize: The ball closest to the pin wins a 50/50 cash payout up to $10,000 (reaches the maximum grand prize if all 1,000 balls sell out).
- Tracking: Your numbers are linked to your name and shared before the event.
- Winner: Officials verify the closest ball after they land. The winner receives 50% of the total ticket sales, and the remaining 50% supports the Scituate Animal Shelter.
You do not need to play golf or be present to win.

Putt for Pets Event Agenda
Location: Hatherly Country Club
Tournament Date: September 28th
- 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Registration & Pre-Game
- Check-In
- Pick up your boxed lunch to enjoy before or during your round
- Final chance to purchase Golf contest packages and Mulligans
- Final chance to enter Helicopter Ball Drop
- Putting Contest on Practice Green
- 12:00 PM Helicopter Ball Drop
- Gather for the visual highlight of the day a thousand numbered golf balls are released from a helicopter
- The Winner: The ball landing closest to the designated target wins the grand prize
- 12:15 PM: Get Ready
- Gather at Golf Carts
- Listen for rules and special instructions
- 12:30 PM:
- Ranger will escort to starting holes
- "A" group teams tee off simultaneously for 18 holes of play, followed by "B" group teams
- "Scramble" format, all team members hit their tee shots. The team collectively selects the best shot, and everyone picks up their balls and plays their next shot from within one club-length of that spot (no closer to the hole). This process is repeated until the ball is holed out. Only one score is recorded for the team
- On-Course Activities: Enjoy refreshments and specialty hole contests throughout the afternoon
- 5:00 PM: Cocktails & Auction Preview
- Unwind after the round with drinks and hors d'oeuvres
- Silent Auction: Browse and place bids on items
- 6:00 PM: Dinner & Awards
- Dinner: Buffet-style dinner service begins
- Awards Ceremony: Announcement of tournament winners and raffle results
