Our generous San Jose Board Member has pledged a $2,000 matching gift – but only if we reach $8,000 in event donations. At Juma, we strive to break the cycle of poverty for youth across America. Through our innovative social enterprise model, we make sure young people earn a paycheck, learn to manage their money, and gain essential skills like responsibility, teamwork, and workplace communication.

Each year, Juma serves 500 youth in four cities across the West Coast —San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, and Seattle. Since 1993, we've helped more than 10,000 young people earn $15.5 million in wages and save $6.4 million for their higher education.
