On June 16, 2026 a devastating barn fire at the Saratoga Casino Hotel harness track in Saratoga Springs, NY claimed the lives of 17 horses. Kentucky Derby winning trainer Cherie DeVaux has deep roots in the Saratoga Springs Standardbred community and felt called to help the victims of this tragedy rebuild. She created the Reins of Hope 2026 Auction and called upon the racing community for help, which resulted in the generously donated items you see here. All proceeds from this auction will go to help the victims of this tragic fire. All funds will be paid to and distributed through Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program.

The auction will operate with a staggered closing so that you have the opportunity to bid on other items if you don't win your first choice. At 12:00 noon on July 21st lots will start to close beginning with lot 100. Lots will close numerically every 2 minutes thereafter. Winners will receive a text as soon as an item closes. If you missed out on something, don't be afraid to increase your bid on another item or find a new one to make a bid on!
Winners will be notified of all items won via email once the auction ends. A link for payment will be included.
