About the Plant Auction
Welcome to another Portland Botanical Gardens Online Plant Auction, held in conjunction with the Design Portland exhibition (featuring the botanical gardens) February 5-26 at the JK Gill Building in downtown Portland.
The three-week exhibition centers on the design, planning, and work to establish botanical gardens along the Willamette River by the non-profit Portland Botanical Gardens.
The online auction serves as a fundraiser and a way to raise the profile of our amazing nurseries and their plants.
Amazing Plants on Display
A central feature of the exhibition is a display of select plants on a large table (see right) and in the window. Some of the auction plants will be featured at the exhibit, and the rest are back in their nurseries waiting for a new home.
Picking up/Delivering Plants
- Winning bids will be notified and provided instructions by email.
- Plants can be picked up at their respective nursery, or delivery can be arranged with and paid directly to the nursery.

About the Portland Botanical Gardens
All proceeds go to the Portland Botanical Gardens, a nonprofit established in 2020 to establish research and education focused botanical gardens in the city of Portland, Oregon. The nonprofit is currently under contract to purchase the 59 acre McCormick & Baxter site in North Portland.
