Since 2006, we have highlighted and showcased the phenomenal talent, and exceptional achievements of our women student-athletes and student leaders within the Department of Athletics and Recreation. The Outstanding Women of Laurier award is presented to the finalist who best demonstrates athletic success, academic achievement and commitment to the development of young athletes through community teaching or coaching. 

Since beginning this annual celebration of both athletic and individual excellence, The Outstanding Women of Laurier Gala has raised more than $375,000 for women's athletic programs, scholarships, and our mentor coaching program. Your support will directly benefit our students and, through them, the young athletes they inspire.
