Your purchase will support the work of PAC to advocate for our profession and communities.This fundraising event is to raise funds that allows us to make campaign contributions to our friends in the State Legislature who support our profession. We must keep growing our PAC funds for this ongoing support to both our profession and increase TNA’s visibility within the Tennessee legislative and election processes.  Contributions are made from our PAC funds to these nurse friendly candidates.

About the PAC!

Too many decisions are made at the State Capitol regarding the nursing profession and the practice of nursing for you not to be involved! Politics and policy affect health care and every area of nursing, whether it's education, practice, or research. Every legislative session, TNA monitors legislation that has a direct impact on health care services and the practice of nursing. Nurses stand up for our profession and our patients through political advocacy and involvement. This requires our PAC. 

Influencing the legislature does not start and stop at the Capitol steps. Each year the PAC Board explores opportunities to raise funds that enable us to move our legislative agenda forward.  It is something we, as nurses, must do year-round to continue to build a successful legislative and political program that moves the nursing profession forward.  Nurses are experts regarding the nursing profession and are advocates for quality health care delivery. Nurses need to ensure their representatives know them and identify them as a go-to source for information regarding legislation and policy. 

The TN Nurses Political Action Committee (PAC) is a voluntary, bipartisan, unincorporated political action committee for registered nurses and others interested in health care issues.  It is not affiliated with any political party. It is not a branch or subsidiary of any national or other political committees. The PAC receives 100% of its' funding through donations from nurses, as well as friends of nursing. visit tnurses.care
