Only in Nashville, a fundraising dinner, auction, and songwriters’ round to benefit Oasis Center's Emergency Shelter and mental health services, returns on Friday, September 13th at Marathon Music Works!
We’re thrilled to showcase the following artists:
Rivers Rutherford, a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame 2019 inductee and multiple Grammy Award-winner, is known for his hits, “When I Get Where I’m Going” (Dolly Parton & Brad Paisley), “Living in Fast Forward” (Kenny Chesney), “Ain’t Nothin’ ‘Bout You” (Brooks & Dunn), “Real Good Man” (Tim McGraw), and “Smoke Rings in the Dark” (Gary Allan). Rivers makes his return to the Only in Nashville stage for the first time since 2016!
Joybeth Taylor's growing catalog of over 200 songs per year for nearly five years includes cuts with Kane Brown, Warren Zeiders, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, Elvie Shane, Austin Snell, Kidd G, and Lauren Alaina. Joybeth brought the house down when she performed at Only in Nashville in 2023!
Jaxson Free has written scores of multi-genre major label artists’ cuts, including his first two #1’s as a songwriter, Kane & Katelyn Brown’s crossover smash “Thank God” and Kane Brown’s chart topper “I Can Feel It.” The collaborative project between Jaxson and Carolina All-Stars Les Robbin-Coker and Sonny Miles, “Raleighwood Hills,” caught the attention of Barack Obama and earned them a spot on “President Obama’s Favorite Songs of 2019” playlist.
Alex Maxwell's instrumental and vocal talents, along with his keen storytelling and songwriting ability, were on display in his debut 2020 collection of songs including singles “Good One Gone” (ft. Ray Fulcher) and fan favorites “Could’ve Been Me” (Trey Lewis) and “That’ll Be the Day.” Maxwell has collaborated with Warren Zeiders, Kameron Marlowe, Chase Matthew, Priscilla Block, Kidd G, Dalton Dover, Colin Stough and Bryce Leatherwood.
With such extraordinary talent, you're in for an unforgettable night—Only in Nashville!

About Oasis Center
At Oasis, we build relationships to advance youth well-being, amplify youth voice, and inspire action toward a just community. We do this with over 20 programs that create safe spaces where youth are seen and heard. For 55 years, we have served youth in Nashville and beyond.
Oasis Center will connect with almost 4,000 youth (ages 11 - 24) and families this year across a broad spectrum of opportunities--whether it's helping them be the first in their family to graduate from college, connecting them with a community where they can be their authentic selves, helping them find their voice in issues that matter most to them, or just being a safe space to go when there is nowhere else.
