Nikkei Place Legacy Gala
Join us for an evening of endless discovery on Saturday, October 22, 2022
at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre
5:00 pm
Our gala event returns after a 2-year hiatus, jointly hosted by Nikkei Place Foundation + Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre. Join us to reconnect, rediscover and honour the legacies of our seasoned and youth leaders for their selfless contributions towards a strong and inclusive Canada.
All proceeds of the evening equally support the Nikkei Place Foundation and the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in their unique missions to build community, connections, and understanding. It supports:
- NPF with a portion dedicated to the newly created “Robert Banno Endowment Fund”. This restricted fund, named in memorium of our founding Board President, will annually support the important work of Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre and Nikkei Seniors Health Care & Housing Society.
- NNMCC’s education and cultural programs, museum collection preservation, and exhibit development.
