100% of auction proceeds support the Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund & NEMPAC
The North End's favorite Sunday Funday returns to the Rose Kennedy Greenway on Sunday, June 7th. This event marks the 9th year we'll toss bags to raise proceeds for the Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund and the North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC), and the Community Music Center of Boston.
The Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund provides full scholarships for North End youths under age 18 each year to participate in NEMPAC programming. The Fund was established in 2014 by State Representative Aaron Michlewitz to preserve the legacy of his mother, Geraldine Marshall, who lived in the North End for almost 50 years before her passing. Ms. Marshall loved children and the arts.
This scholarship honors her legacy and allows greater access to arts education for youth in need in our community. Since the inception of the scholarship fund in 2014, over $59,000 has supported 54 students. Thank you for joining us and supporting the continuation of the Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund.
