Making a Difference in Our Neighborhood

At NCM, we expect an elevated number of families seeking assistance in 2022 as pandemic related federal benefits phase out, rents rise and families spend an increased portion of their budget for essentials like food and gas. Rental assistance remains a critical need as families struggle with rising rents and the cycle created by families paying a large percentage of their income in rent. In addition to rising rents, the cost of food is up 6%, the cost of gas is up 58% and overall low and middle income families paid 7% more for the same goods in 2021 as compared to 2020 (that translates to about $3500 for the average household). Thank you for joining us as we make a difference in our neighborhood, one family at a time! For more about our organization please visit www.ourncm.org
