Event details

The evening will take place at the beautiful Midland Theatre in a fully seated setting. 

Doors open at 6pm, with guests invited to mix, mingle, and enjoy buffet-style dining, passed hors d’oeuvres, and beer and wine before seating begins at 7pm. Be sure to give yourself time to stop by some fun stations and the photo booth before the program begins!

Guests will be seated at round tables, with our team available to guide you to your table, creating a comfortable and connected experience. The program begins at 7:10pm, and ADA-accessible seating and accommodations are available.

Will Shields is a proud supporter of the Midwest Innocence Project and a deeply respected Kansas City leader. A Pro Football Hall of Fame lineman who spent his entire career with the Kansas City Chiefs, Will is celebrated not only for excellence on the field, but for his enduring commitment to giving back and strengthening the community he calls home.

Will will host the Golden Hour Reception, an intimate pre event gathering held in the Chandelier Bar in the Midland Theatre before the main program begins.

Parking

Parking is available throughout the Kansas City Power and Light District, with several garages and surface lots within a short walking distance of the theater, along with additional nearby public parking options.

Parking Options:

  • H&R Block Garage
  • KC Live Block / Power & Light Garage
  • 1201 Walnut Garage
  • Streetcar & Remote Parking: For a lower-cost option, park in the Crossroads or River Market and take the free KC Streetcar to the 14th & Main stop, just steps from the venue.
