Doors: Open at 5:30pm. Enter at the front doors of The Center for the Arts.
Drop-Off Zone: There will be a drop-off/pick-up area at the front of the Center for the Arts. 314 W Main Street Grass Valley
Parking: Parking space at The Center for the Arts is limited in the back parking lots. Please use the City lots and the old Bank of America Parking lot.
Check-in and Hors D'oeuvres: Enjoy tray-passed hors d’oeuvres while you greet your friends and enjoy the harmony. No need to form a line. There will be several people stationed at the back of the lobby where you can check in to get your table assignment and bidder number at your convenience before you are ushered into the concert hall for dinner.
Drinks: Your evening includes bubbly before dinner and wine at your dinner table. If you are interested in something of a different flavor, please survey the The Center for the Arts full bar for no-host options.
Food: Enjoy a thoughtfully-crafted meal by Antonio starting with tray-passed bites right at 5:30pm. Enjoy a lovely 3-course meal once you sit for dinner. For our patrons with restrictions or allergies, we will give you a tag when you check in to indicate your food choices to the caterer at your place setting.
Photo Booth: Capture this memory! Have your picture taken at the photo booth in the art gallery near the bar. Funny faces optional.
Seating: Patrons will enjoy assigned numbered tables and ushers will help you to your seats.
What to Wear: Yes! You can come in costume. Costumes or black-tie are encouraged but not required. Please dress in whatever makes you comfortable.
Donations and Payment: Yes, this is a fundraiser so you might be wondering about forms of payment. Music in the Mountains gratefully processes payments by cash, check, or charge for the Gala. MIM also accepts donations by cash, check, charge and additionally accepts donation payment through gifts of stock, donor advised funds, and crypto-currency. Gala 2025 Dinner & Hors d’ Oeuvres Menu By Antonio’s Catering
Hors d’ oeuvres:
Bacon wrapped scallops with red pepper coulis
Black and Blue seared ahi tuna with roasted corn and avocado salsa, served on crispy wonton with sriracha aioli
Roasted pepper bruschetta with herbed ricotta cheese and fried basil
Salad:
Roasted Pear salad with crumbled blue cheese, toasted pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries served with baby kale vinaigrette.
Entrees:
Napa Valley filet mignon, topped with brie cheese, apples, grapes and walnuts finished with a port demi glaze
Butternut squash raviolis with brown butter sage sauce served with crumbled goat cheese and honey roasted walnuts.
