Dragonfly is an event on Nantucket created to inspire change with mental illness. The fundraiser was started after founder, Kate Kling, lost her sister to mental illness, and to date, Dragonfly has donated more than $300,000. Proceeds from Dragonfly will be donated to NAMI CC&I (National Alliance for Mental Illness) on Nantucket & Fairwinds – Nantucket’s Counseling Center.  About Dragonfly's nonprofit partners: 

• NAMI Cape Cod & The Islands provides free of charge educational and support programs and services for families and friends of those with mental illness as well as for those individuals with mental illness themselves throughout Cape Cod and the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. 
• Fairwinds—Nantucket’s Counseling Center provides confidential, quality professional care to adults and youth on Nantucket who seek mental health and addiction services. All are welcome, regardless of ability to pay.
