WHAT IS FLINTA*?
A FLINTA*-Celebration
FLINTA* is a German acronym which stands for women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender, and agender, with the asterisk representing all other gender expansive identities.
Why Luscious?
The Luscious Brunch will raise critical resources to expand our life skills and learning opportunities for the women, trans, and non-binary youth of the Ali Forney Center who are experiencing homelessness and family rejection because of their LGBTQ+ identity. By creating a community by ourselves, for ourselves, and with ourselves we can positively impact the lives of the over 85% of AFC youth who are women, trans, or non-binary during their time at the Ali Forney Center and beyond.
