The Kansas Masonic Foundation, in conjunction with the MW Grand Lodge of Kansas, is seeking to raise $500,000 in support of developing a Kansas Masonic Historical Display. As you may be aware, when Grand Lodge was in Topeka, the building provided an area to display some of the historical artifacts of Kansas Masonry. The relocation to Emporia has left a void in this area. The Kansas Masonic Foundation has been seeking a new venue for an exhibit that would highlight the importance of Freemasonry in Kansas and the impact it has made. While no definite venue has been secured, it is anticipated that one will arise, and we want to be in the position to respond. We are seeking a venue, like for example the Kansas Historical Society, that attracts many visitors annually and will allow us to showcase Freemasonry. We know that there will be both a cost to place the exhibit in a venue, as well as the development of an attractive interactive exhibit. To kick-off this fundraising event, 100% of the 2026 KMF Charity Auction proceeds, held during Annual Communication, will be directed to this fund.
