St. John XXIII Catholic School (SJ23) provides a foundation of Catholic values and academic excellence for its students in preschool through 8th grade. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to building a strong academic, social, emotional, and spiritual foundation for our students. SJ23’s teachers actively engage and inspire diverse learning styles so every student reaches his or her potential while at SJ23 and beyond. We are growing as saints together through service, excellence, discipleship, and community.
We will see you on March 8, 2025 at Edison Hall downtown Port Washington for the 25th Anniversary Celebration of The Key Event. The Key Event continues to be the main source of fundraising for SJ23, and your generosity allows us to instill and provide exceptional academics, quality faith-based education, and service to our students. This yearly fundraiser is the result of many hours and tremendous commitment of the St. John XXIII Catholic School community. It is through the efforts of our volunteers, faculty, alumni, friends, sponsors, parents, and students that this event comes to life.

We are so excited to have you join us for the 2025 Key Event - Silver Jubilee 25th Anniversary Celebration, to be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Edison Hall in downtown Port Washington. We want to make sure you go into the evening knowing exactly what to expect. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of socializing, a silent & live auction, games, raffles, and live entertainment (dueling pianos)!
UPON YOUR ARRIVAL
The event doors will open at 4:30 PM for registration. When you arrive, please stop at the registration table to make sure you are properly set up for mobile bidding and to pick up your Night-of-Packet. Friendly volunteers will be there to help if you have any questions and point you in the right direction.
Cocktail Hour will be from 4:30-6:30 PM, followed by a seated dinner.
*Please note that the Upstairs Bar will have Beer & Wine ONLY. The Signature Drinks & Cocktails can be ordered at the Bar on the Main Level.
*Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour, and dessert will be provided after dinner!
WHAT TO WEAR, WHAT TO WEAR...
The theme this year is Silver Jubilee, celebrating our 25th Anniversary (SUCCESS, GROWTH, RESILIENCE). Come dressed in cocktail/"wedding guest" attire or business casual in your best Black & White/Silver. Struggling with ideas? Rent the Runway is always a fun option if you are looking for something you can return after the evening festivities.

HEADS OR TAILS ($25)
Participants stand and place their hands on their head for "heads" or behind their back for "tails". The auctioneer will flip a coin and announce the result. Participants who don't match the coin toss sit down and are eliminated. Flipping the coin continues until only a few participants remain. Final showdown: The remaining participants are invited to the stage for a series of coin tosses until one player is left. Prize: 50/50
