Why The Key Event Matters
At St. John XXIII Catholic School (SJ23), we’re committed to providing a strong foundation of Catholic values, academic excellence, and whole-child development for students in preschool through 8th grade. The Key Event is SJ23’s largest annual fundraiser and a vital part of ensuring we continue to offer outstanding, faith-based education.
Now in its 26th year, this event is a celebration of the generosity, passion, and commitment of our school community—parents, alumni, volunteers, faculty, friends, and sponsors—who make our mission possible.

What to Expect
Upon Your Arrival
The event doors will open at 4:30 PM for check-in. When you arrive, please stop at the registration table to make sure you are properly set up for mobile bidding and to pick up your Night-of-Packet. Friendly volunteers will be there to help if you have any questions and point you in the right direction. Cocktail Hour will be from 4:30-6:45 PM, followed by dinner. Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour, and dessert will be provided after dinner.
WHAT TO WEAR, WHAT TO WEAR: Dress to impress in your best black-tie attire or channel your inner Bond Girl/Secret Agent for a night of sophistication and style. The theme this year is Casino Royale...think Vegas! Struggling with ideas? Rent the Runway is always a fun option if you are looking for something you can return after the evening festivities.
