About the Event
Join us for this Lunch & Learn on May 12, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Texas Tech Health Science Center building, 801 W. 4th Street Odessa, Texas 79763. Please park in open lot behind Good Neighbor Pharmacy, the building has a white statue out front. CNE, TCOLE, and CEU hours are available. CNE Hours are being provided by Medical Center Hospital. TCOLE hours provided by Odessa Police Department. Registration is free and lunch will be provided.

Marc Chastain Assistant District Attorney with Ector County
Marc Chastain is an attorney whose career reflects a steady commitment to public service and the development of young people within the justice system. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995 and later earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan School of Law—now Texas A&M School of Law—in 2013. After spending two years practicing in another area of law, he transitioned into criminal law in 2015, where he found his professional focus.
Marc joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2021 and soon began concentrating on juvenile cases, a responsibility he has carried since September of that year. His work in juvenile law has become a defining part of his career, driven by a genuine passion for helping young people navigate the legal system and supporting outcomes that encourage accountability, growth, and second chances.
