About Jefferson Center
About Jefferson Center
Jefferson Center is a nonprofit, community-focused mental health care, wellness, and substance use services provider. Serving our community is at the core of everything we do. As your community mental health center for more than 66 years, we care about the health of our community members. We offer a full range of mental health and substance use disorder resources to support the whole health of the members of our community. Our staff is dedicated to understanding the unique needs of each family and works to build on the family’s natural strengths and supports.
State, federal, and grant funding does not cover all the costs associated with providing effective mental health care and substance use treatment to all who come through our doors. As a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, we depend on the support of our community.
At Jefferson Center, we know that recovery from mental illness and addiction is possible. Your generosity can inspire hope to people of all ages and from all walks of life, living with a mental illness and waking up each morning dreaming of a better day, a place to call home, a job, and a chance to belong.
