Part food festival, part rock show, and entirely a good time, Rock & Roll Picnic welcomes guests of all ages for live music, cocktails, chef-driven bites, and fun activations. The celebration is also one of IHWHS's largest annual fundraisers, helping provide free preventive and mental healthcare to uninsured food and beverage workers.

This year's culinary lineup brings together nationally recognized chefs and local favorites, including Lucas McKinney of Josephine's, recently named one of Food & Wine's 2026 Best New Chefs; James Beard Award-winning Chef G (Benchawan Jabthong Painter) of Street to Kitchen; Christine Ha of The Blind Goat, MasterChef winner and James Beard Award finalist; Michelin-recognized chef Max Lappe, and James Beard and Michelin-recognized Stefani Velasquez of Casa Ema.

Joining them are Suu Khin of Burmalicious by Suu, Keisha Griggs of Bocage Catering, Josh DeLeon of Underground Creamery and Heneef Abdullah of Pineapple Monkey. Foodie ticket holders can enjoy bites from participating chefs and mingle with them in a dedicated Foodie Lounge, complete with grazing boards from Houston Dairymaids.

Houston’s bar community will be showing out with an all-star lineup featuring Lauren Franssen of Johnny’s Gold Brick, Julia Miles-Gonzalez of Refuge, Aurora Mindiola of Bar Buena, Adriana “Adri” Medina of Donna’s and Madeline Glasscock of Starduster Lounge. Bringing the rock & roll spirit to life, Lavi Bly, DerEcho, GRRRL PARTS and DJ Rosez will keep the party going with live performances and DJ sets throughout the afternoon.

Beyond the food, libations and music, you can look forward to IHWSH’s silent auction, including a coveted brunch reservation at House of Louie provided by James Beard winner Chef Justin Yu (AND a link to his bespoke playlist), seats at a Live Fire dinner at Blue Heron Farms featuring Top Chef alum Dawn Burrell, or the opportunity to create a cocktail with James Beard winner Alba Huerta of Julep.
