About the Foundation

The Foundation's Mission, through continued growth of the endowment, is to support programs, services and facilities that serve the medical needs of Cook health care area residents.  Since it's founding thirty years ago, the foundation has been able to give over $813,000 towards these needs.  

About the Event

The funds raised at our annual benefit are used to purchase needed equipment, provide educational opportunities for health care staff, and to guarantee quality, local, health care into the future.  We are proud and thankful to be hosting our thirtieth annual summer benefit.  Over the years our benefit has grown and evolved since the original benefit on the shores of Ludlow's Island, with fifty guests.  The continued commitment of all the donors has made each year's event a great opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause.  This year, we ask you to join us in a festive Hawaiian style celebration with food, refreshments, silent auction, live auction and joy of sharing with your neighbors as you support the WC Heiam Medical Foundation.
