A Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Foundation was founded in 2007 by a group of patients, their provider, and caregivers. Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2008, A Breath of Hope has since grown and developed to include patient services, survivorship support, education, and research.
Our mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by lung cancer through research, education, and support.

The Health Link Society is an organization of mostly pre-medical students that strives to connect students with volunteering opportunities in the UVA community. We also provide education on the pre-medical pathway as well as provide an opportunity for students to connect with other students who may be a resource for them.
