Guardian Partners works to protect the dignity and safety of Oregonians under guardianship, including seniors & adults with disabilities and minors, and we support court-appointed fiduciaries with case monitoring, education and resources.

We serve 70% of Oregon residents.

About the Event

We are coming together to not only celebrate 10 years of service in Oregon, but to also ensure that the next 10 years is funded for expansion. We are setting our biggest goal of raising $100k to help us reach further into Oregon. We are currently serving 21 of the 36 counties, which represents 70% of Oregonians. We have been able to achieve this because of your support. 

Our 2024 Guest of Honor is Ellen Klem, Oregon Attorney General's Office

Ellen Klem is a passionate attorney on a mission to improve the lives of vulnerable adults. She has 20 years of experience advising government, businesses, and non-profit organizations - including as a Guardian Partners founding Board member - on a variety of legal, legislative, and policy issues. Renowned for her outreach efforts and strong connections with government bodies, community groups, and media, Ellen has testified before the U.S. Senate and appeared on NBC's Nightly News with Lester Holt. Presently serving under Attorney General Rosenblum, Ellen holds degrees from Michigan State University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys skiing, camping, reading, and spending time with her family.

Our 2024 Special Recognition Award is for The Law Offices of Nay & Friedenberg

The Law Offices of Nay & Friedenberg have been serving clients in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate since 1984. Founder Tim Nay came to his legal career as an experienced psychologist and licensed clinical social worker. As a result, making a positive difference in clients' lives is a hallmark of Nay & Friedenberg's mission and culture. Nay & Friedenberg attorneys are compassionate, caring listeners who can understandably explain complex legal concepts and strategies. Tim Nay served as founding Board President for Guardian Partners, donating office space and administrative support for two years as our fledgling nonprofit got its start.
