The Park Project

A New Place for the Mountain Park Elementary Community to Play

There is currently only one small playground at MPE that is not large enough to accommodate all students, and the 2nd – 5th graders must play on a large dirt field during recess.  The Mountain Park Foundation is raising money to begin The Park Project that will provide a special place for the upper grades to gather in a safe and age-appropriate environment at MPE.  With MPE's proximity to Leita Thompson, The Park Project will provide an outstanding asset for all Roswell families.

Proposed Park Project Plans 

The main feature of the proposed playground is the sensory dome.  Children will be delighted with its huge nets while building strength, stability and confidence in movement. We also hope to raise enough money for 8 swings and 2 spinning features.  Additional recreational upgrades include new basketball nets and painted goals, Gaga ball pit and new soccer fields with artificial turf.

All proceeds from the fundraiser go toward The Park Project.
