General Auction Rules

The auctioneer will determine the successful bidder for every package sold.
Items may be removed only with paid receipt.
Burkard School neither warrants nor represents, and in no event should be held responsible for the correctness of descriptions or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog, orally at the auction or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. The committee reserves the right to make changes and apologizes for any errors or omissions.
Some auction items in the evening will be sold subject to a minimum bid. The auctioneer reserves the right to remove from auction, during the bidding process, any items that do not reach established minimums.
All auction items are subject to terms and conditions as stipulated by the donor of each item. These may include but are not limited to: dates, times, reservations, advanced booking, blackout dates, and other restrictions.
Burkard School is a section 501(c)3 charitable organization and all proceeds from this event directly benefit Burkard School. Tax ID # is 47-4322966.
Auction Item recipients are allowed a charitable deduction for tax purposes only to the extent their donation exceeds the fair market value of the goods and services they receive in exchange for the donation. Check with your tax preparer for other deductibility restrictions.
Donation tax receipts will be sent via e-mail to the e-mail provided at registration. No other receipt will be sent out.
All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds.

Silent Auction Rules

All items in the silent auction can be found on the ClickBid App. It is only through this application that bidders will be allowed to bid on Silent Auction Items. ClickBid is free and available for download in the App Store on all smartphones.
If you have any problems with ClickBid during the auction, please speak with an auction butler who will be located throughout the silent auction area.
The closing time for the silent auction will be announced by the auctioneer incrementally as the end time draws nearer. The Silent Auction will close promptly at 7:45 PM.
All bidders who win a Silent Auction item must complete the check-out process at the end of the night.
