Thank you for coming to the 10th Giggles and Gloves Comedy Show and Silent Auction, benefiting Mittens for Detroit!

Whether this is your first or your tenth Giggles and Gloves, you are in for a treat! You'll experience a night of comedy, some food, a lot of laughs, and one of our signature Silent Auctions. This event runs from May 17th, 5:00pm through 9:00pm.

You do need to register to receive your Bidder Number. The proceeds from this event will be used to purchase new, warm, durable mittens and gloves. This is our big annual fundraiser, and we hope that you will help us reach our goal this year!

About our Silent Auction!

We are happy to offer you a very fun silent auction at Giggles and Gloves. The theme is Hometown Tourist and nearly all of the items guarantee you fun, excitement, entertainment, and great food... all in the spirit of Metro Detroit! While you are attending the event, you'll see the awesome items. You can preview them here the week before, and bidding will begin at 5:15pm for onsite only guests on May 17th. You'll be using your cellphone to capture the QR codes of the items, and you'll be able to watch your item from the comfort of your table! Bidding ends shortly before the show – you'll get a 15 minute warning in the room as well as on your phone. Your bidder number will be given to you when you check in at the event.

We have done our best to present you with many options of items to choose from! Please be sure to read the entire description, including size, value, dates, and such so that you are ready to bid. Some items are "bundled" and their descriptions and images are in each item page. If you want to learn more about an item, click the blue Details button on the lower left corner of the item block. It will open a mini screen with more details. When you are done, there is a little button in that screen's upper right corner where you click an X to move back to the block.

Mittens for Detroit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collects, purchases, and distributes new mittens and glove to children, teens, and adults in need in and around Detroit, Michigan. Since our start in 2010, more than 375,000 pairs have been donated by the public. We are so proud of the community support we receive year after year. This winter will be our 17th Season of Warmth, and we welcome you joining us as we warm hearts, two hands at a time.
