Join us on November, 21st as we celebrate 12 years of Downtown Rochester's Festival of Trees! This year's Cocktail Preview evening will take place at the Rochester Community House from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The remainder of the weekend is open to the public to enjoy the wonderfully decorated trees, wreaths, centerpieces and tablescapes! The Festival of Trees Auction is our largest fundraiser in support of not only The Big, Bright Light Show but our small businesses.

About the Rochester DDA
A perfect mix of historic and hip, downtown Rochester attracts both local residents and visitors from across the state of Michigan. Downtown Rochester is home to more than 350 shops, salons, restaurants and professional service businesses; 85% of which are independent merchants.
The mission of our organization is to oversee promotional and marketing activities in downtown Rochester for the purpose of increasing the number of potential customers entering the DDA district while strengthening downtown’s high quality image and enhancing the quality of life for Rochester area residents.
A huge contributor of our high visitor rate is The Big, Bright Light Show! The Big, Bright Light Show, features 1.5 million colorful lights adorning our businesses buildings during the holiday season. In return, it draws in thousands of visitors each year. This influx of foot traffic provides a significant boost to our 400 plus businesses, creating an invaluable opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services to a larger audience. Our small businesses leverage this surge in activity to capture new customers, increase sales, and enhance their brand visibility.
About the Event
The Festival of Trees Cocktail Preview is the first opportunity to get a sneak preview (and first choice) of the gorgeous themed trees, wreaths, centerpieces and more, designed and donated by the Metro Detroit community. The event will include a strolling dinner, silent auction, bar and visit with Santa. Plus, you’ll have the chance to bid on all the holiday items before the event opens to the general public on November 22 - 23. Proceeds benefit The Big, Bright Light Show and in return help Downtown Rochester.
