As we raise crucial funds and bring awareness to food insecurity in Metro Detroit, we will celebrate our partners who help strengthen our community every day. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal prepared by the talented chefs at the The Mint, an exciting silent auction, a powerful program highlighting our impact in the community, and engaging entertainment including incredible music by Parallel Fifth to dance the night away and bowling at The Mint's private bowling alley!
About Forgotten Harvest
In 1990, we set down roots in the greater Metro Detroit area and began rescuing food surpluses from grocery stores, markets, restaurants, caterers, and more. These donors gave us their excess food and we delivered it free of charge to emergency food providers in the metro Detroit area. Our work has since expanded to include Forgotten Harvest Farms, where we grow our own fresh food for those in need.
All the food we rescue and produce is delivered to metro Detroit families who are food-insecure and struggle to cover the cost of basic life necessities. Our food helps bridge the income gap for tens of thousands of people, allowing them to secure some basic life necessities for themselves and their family.
