The safety of our students and faculty is our highest priority. This year, our Fund-A-Need goal is to raise $70,000 to complete critical security enhancements to our school building. These upgrades will allow us to proactively strengthen our campus and provide an added layer of protection for everyone who walks through our doors each day.

Our security improvements include transitioning to a keyless entry fob system at all exterior entry points. This system will allow us to closely monitor and manage building access in real time, ensuring that only authorized individuals are able to enter. Each door upgrade — not including the necessary hardware and software to manage the system — costs between $5,000 and $7,000, making this a significant but essential investment in our school’s future.

In addition, we will be reinforcing all ground-level windows with 3M shatter-resistant safety film. This specialized film strengthens the glass to help prevent forced entry and significantly reduces the risk of injury from broken glass. Each window panel costs approximately $400, and we will need 142 panels to fully secure the building’s ground-level windows.
