Terms of participation:
Bidders must be registered and have cc information set up to bid. This is to ensure the security and swiftness of the bidding process for you and other bidders. It will also allow you to respond faster in bidding and checkout. The ease of checkout after bidding ends is a key feature of this online auction, since we will not be physically present to process the winning bids, and have set up an efficient electronic response system which you can have pushed to your device to alert you in a more timely fashion.
Once you have placed a bid, you are BOUND by that bid, as in any auction. This means that you should not bid an amount that you cannot pay or your cc will not process. If you have made an error in bidding, please contact us immediately, but know that we may not be guarantee to process your request due to the nature of online auctions. So, please consider this when placing a bid. Any unusual bidding errors will be "corrected" if needed and are given priority - but we only have certain amount of people-power in which to do so within the constraints of this online auction. We are only human. We will try our best to help.
Participation is voluntary. Participants should assume curbside pickup (no-contact pickup of items) after the auction. You will receive information at the end of the auction for how and where and when to conduct your pickup. This will be staggered in time slots (which we will try our best to accommodate our bidders as much as possible to give you a slot of your choice) to ensure the safety of both you and our staff in these trying times.
If you cannot pickup any items, you will be required to respond to the alert after the auction (it could be 1-3 days after the conclusion) by email to the designated employee of FBAC to arrange shipping. We only ship Tuesday and Thursday currently, and have a nonprofit reduced price shipping system that will benefit you, but the winning bidder will be responsible for paying shipping costs for their items.
