Fanfare for Education is celebrating its 32nd year!  This event will be held at Little America Hotel & Resort on Saturday, March 15th.  There will be an online silent auction that will begin Friday, March 14th.  

This is the premier annual fundraising event benefiting St. Mary’s Catholic School & St. Mary’s School Foundation.  This event was created to support the development and operations of St. Mary’s educational programs.  The continued support from St. Mary’s Catholic School families and the Cheyenne community ensures we can continue to provide a quality Catholic education for our children.  Additionally, with this event being co-sponsored with the St. Mary’s School Foundation we will be able to continue to provide tuition assistance to families and offer stronger support to the operating needs of St. Mary’s Catholic School.  

Once again, we will have the Ultimate Raffle for your chance to  win a new car!  This is not a lease, you actually win a new car donated by Halladay Subaru, color options will vary.  Tickets are $100 and we will be offering 4 cash prizes in addition to the grand prize.  Prizes  range from $5,000 (1st prize) to $500 (4th prize).  For the grand prize, St. Mary’s will pay tax, title, and registration.  

This years guest speaker is our own St. Mary’s Catholic School alumni AND New York Times bestseller, John Roedel.   John Roedel is a comic who unexpectedly gained notability as a writer and poet through his heartfelt Facebook conversations that went viral and became an Amazon best-selling book titled, “Hey God. Hey John.”   John began posting on Facebook about his ongoing faith crisis in 2015. What began as a flippant way of making light of his doubts in the Divine turned into something he wasn't at all prepared for: God wrote back. Since creating the popular "Hey God. Hey John.", blog on Facebook three years ago, John has tackled such topics as his journey to mental health wellness, his lack of faith, the joy and pain of raising a child with autism, and grief, all in the form of a simple conversation with God.  Since then John has authored six books that all went on to be Amazon best sellers: “Any Given Someday”, “Untied: The Poetry of What Comes Next”, “Remedy”, “Upon Departure”, “Fitting In Is For Sardines”, and his newest collection: “wonderache”.  Offering a sincere and very relatable look at his faith crisis, mental health, personal struggles, perception of our world, and even his fashion sense, John's writing has been shared millions of times across social media and lauded by fans and readers worldwide. He teaches at universities and retreat centers across the United States and Europe, blending his trademark comedy with creative exercises, journaling, dialogue, and introspection to help people fearlessly embrace and share their personal stories.
