This 10th annual event will be held at Neighborhood Church on Friday, October 4th at 6pm. The Purple Party raises critical funds for Family Services’ emergency domestic violence shelter, Karen’s House: Visalia’s dedicated emergency shelter for victims and their children. We look forward to a fun night of community and advocacy!

The purple-themed evening features dinner, mocktails, a raffle, a photo booth, and more. We hope you’ll consider joining us to celebrate 40+ years of providing shelter and healing to survivors of domestic violence in our community.

Family Services provides comprehensive, trauma-informed services to children, adults, and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, child abuse, homelessness, and other traumas. Our service areas include:

• Safe Homes:
  -Emergency domestic violence shelter for survivors & children
  -Supportive Housing for survivors of abuse and homelessness
  - Violence prevention and intervention programs
• Safe Relationships:
  -Tulare County’s only Rape Crisis Center
  -Free and low-cost counseling services
• Safe Children:
  -Counseling for children who have been victims of abuse
  -Parenting education and in-home support
  -Supervised Visitation & Safe Exchange
